PAPAR: A Sabah representative in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Parliament says a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) is necessary to get to the bottom of the six Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) scandal that cost the nation RM9 billion.
Describing it as second only to the RM42 billion 1MDB scandal, Warisan Sabah’s Member of Parliament for Papar Ahmad Hassan said only through a RCI could those responsible be brought to book.
“The act by the person/s is a betrayal of the nation,” he said, adding that their irresponsible actions put the nation in danger in terms of security.
