Royal family honours Dolly Parton with Buckingham Palace band tribute

The Changing of the Guard's military band played a rendition of Dolly Parton's "9 to 5" outside Buckingham Palace in tribute to the beloved country singer, who has died aged 80 following a "brief battle" with cancer.

Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver announced the news of her death on behalf of the family on Tuesday (25 August), and her representative later confirmed that she had died at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, surrounded by loved ones.

"Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always love you," the Royal Family Instagram account captioned the video.
