ROYAL Group Wellness Center (RGWC) and Malaysian biotechnology firm Reimagene Sdn. Bhd. have signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to introduce advanced regenerative medicine, DNA-based precision health, and personalised wellness solutions to Cambodia.
The ceremony, held in Phnom Penh, was attended by distinguished guests including H.E. Dr. Heng Sokkung, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, H.E. Dr. Shaharuddin Onn, Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia, and Vice President of Royal Group of Companie Paul Clements.
Dr. Raymond Kirwan, Medical Director of RGWC, said: "This collaboration brings together the strengths of Royal Group Wellness with Reimagene, a leader in regenerative and preventative medicine.
“Together, we aim to establish new benchmarks in preventive healthcare, longevity science, and personalised care to deliver world-class wellness experiences."
Scientific Director of MVA-Reimagene Dr. Than Chor Teck emphasised the partnership is more than a formal agreement.
“It is a shared mission—to bring cutting-edge regenerative medicine, DNA testing, personalised healthcare services, and offer science-driven wellness solutions to the people of Cambodia."
Highlighting the MOA’s alignment with national priorities, Sokkung said: "Today's MoU directly complements these national goals by bringing DNA precision testing and personalised wellness programmes into real practice, helping us move from concept to implementation, from vision to measurable impact."
He noted this supports Cambodia’s Health-Tech Roadmap 2030, which prioritises precision and personalised medicine.
Shaharuddin described the collaboration as a milestone in Malaysia–Cambodia healthcare cooperation:
"This collaboration showcases Malaysia–Cambodia cooperation in advanced healthcare and biotechnology. It further reflects the vision and commitment to advance healthcare through genetic innovation and to bridge Malaysian expertise with Cambodian healthcare development."
The signing also recognised Management Venture Asia’s facilitative role in fostering strategic linkages, with speakers noting that the partnership represents a "mutual vision to redefine what modern healthcare can achieve" and a "collective commitment to advance healthcare, science, and wellness for the people of Cambodia and the region." - November 13, 2025
