Arsenal have made an improved an offer for St Etienne defender William Saliba.
The Gunners agreed personal terms a fortnight ago with Saliba's camp over a five-year contract.
Le 10 Sport says Arsenal have offered 25m up front with a further 5m due in bonuses.
With ASSE demanding 30m to sell, negotiations are close to coming to a positive conclusion.
It's suggested Saliba will be allowed to return to ASSE on-loan next season.
