
Kota Kinabalu: The Unduk Ngadau Sabah Association (Puns) has continued to demonstrate their commitment to uplifting rural communities through their recent Rural Outreach Education Enrichment programme.
Its President, Ellyanti P Nelson, said the project, held from July 14-16, aimed to foster education and community development in rural, disadvantaged, inaccessible and underserved areas.
Under the programme, the Association aspires to develop a culture of learning through the establishment of three mini-libraries, one each in Kampung Sonsogon Magandai, Kampung Sonsogon Tikalod and Kampung Sonsogon Paliu, all located in Kota Marudu.
The project sites were selected after a recce, and Ellyanti disclosed they hope to expand the project to other villages.
