  • Russell Brand has pleaded not guilty to sex offence charges, including rape and sexual assault, relating to allegations from four separate women between 1999 and 2005.
  • The charges include one count each of rape, indecent assault, and oral rape, as well as two counts of sexual assault.
  • The allegations include raping a woman in a hotel room during a Labour Party conference and grabbing a TV worker's breasts before dragging her into a toilet and orally raping her.
  • Brand appeared at Southwark Crown Court to enter his plea, wearing a dark grey suit, and only spoke to confirm his name and enter his five not guilty pleas.
  • A provisional trial date has been set for 3 June 2026.
