A Russian drone attack destroyed a home in eastern Ukraine, killing two people and wounding another as Moscow’s forces advance in the Kharkiv region.
KHARKIV: A Russian drone strike overnight killed two people in a home in eastern Ukraine.
The attack occurred in the village of Pidserednie in the Kharkiv region, an area where Moscow’s forces are pushing to capture more territory.
Local emergency services reported the house was completely destroyed. They posted images of firefighters battling flames from the burning structure.
Rescue workers retrieved the bodies of a man and a woman from under the rubble. One more person was wounded in the attack.
Russian forces have been pushing to retake the nearby town of Kupiansk. Moscow captured the town in 2022 before Ukrainian troops later retook it.
