MOSCOW, Feb 25 — Russian forces have taken a more advantageous position near Ukraine’s Avdiivka and have rebuffed seven Ukrainian counterattacks, Russia’s defence ministry said today.
On Friday the ministry said that Russian forces had advanced further to the west after taking control of Avdiivka. — Reuters
