Trigger warning: Mentions of sexual assault & animal abuse
A teenager in Singapore has been nabbed by police on Tuesday (Apr 11) after he was caught on CCTV sexually assaulting a cat along the corridor of a flat in Bukit Panjang.
Singaporean news outlet CNA reported that police received a report of the incident and confirmed the teen’s arrest.
Caught humping cat with pants down
In the disturbing clip, the boy is seen pulling his pants down and humping the cat with his groin from behind.
Despite the cat running away from him, the teen caught it again and humped it for the second time.
The cat’s owner, Ismul Azim, told Mothership that he was alerted of the matter after a neighbour sent him the CCTV footage.
Cat traumitised by incident
Ismul also added that his cat displayed signs of distress following the incident and lodged a police report.
He also wrote in an Instagram post that he is “hoping the relevant authorities will realise it once it goes viral here”.
Police investigations into the incident are currently underway.
