Wolverhampton Wanderers chairman Jeff Shi is positive about the upcoming transfer window.
The club are in need of some reinforcements, as they are struggling to cope with the demands of playing Europe and domestically.
And Shi knows that investment is needed if they are to maintain their level from last season, or step it up.
He told reporters: "We are always ready to invest, don't worry about it.
"If we need to strengthen the squad, we have the capacity to do it immediately, in January.
"We want to do the right deal.
"We understand our squad is still growing, but if we want to compete at a higher level, we need to give Nuno and the team more support."
