
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Cheshire Home’s handmade chocolate lollipops received support from the Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) and Dongshun Group Sdn Bhd during their visit to the centre in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.
The delegation was led by SCCC President Datuk Frankie Liew who is also Dongshun Group’s Director.

During the visit, Frankie not only bought a batch of the lollipops but also distributed them to each resident with disabilities.
He called on the public to support this initiative, pointing out the importance of supporting charitable institutions and fostering a compassionate society during the festive season.
Meanwhile, the centre’s manager, Jennifer Liew said the “Chocolate Lollipops” project is a fundraising effort by Cheshire Home, which currently supports 39 persons with disabilities, 20 children and 15 trainees, aimed at generating additional income for their vocational training programmes.

Priced between RM7 and RM8, the lollipops are available at the Cheshire Home, Suria Sabah Shopping Mall and 1Borneo Hypermall.
