Kota Kinabalu: The annual “Sabah Screen Fest” (SSF) digital film festival returned this year with the theme “Self-Love”, which saw a total of 150 film entries from schools and the public.
Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Yakub Khan said the theme coincided with the Covid-19 situation which had caused mental health challenges among many.
“This theme aims to raise awareness in the community and encourage them to value themselves and their lives especially in the post Covid-19 pandemic era,” he said, when officiating the Sabah Screen Fest Awards Night at Sabah International Convention Centre, here, Wednesday.
