
SEAC (Sabah Economic Action Council) and Sybil, an organisation nurturing young Sabah entrepreneurs, rallied industry players statewide to discuss practical policy recommendations and solutions on Tourism and Mice events, recently.
This followed Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s call to young industry players and professionals to contribute towards policy development for the betterment of Sabah.
The topics for a start included holistic development of hospitality sector including F&B, events, entertainment, marketing, infrastructure, product development, human capital, streamlining approvals, licences and regulation.
The productive session at Menara Kinabalu saw innovative ideas and solutions suggested to be compiled into formal policy recommendations for Minister, Datuk Christina Liew.
