KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity announced on Wednesday that supply to the East Coast has been restored following the reconnection of the 275kV Kolopis-Segaliud line.
The utility said power will return gradually by area to maintain system stability and operational safety.
Its technical teams are monitoring the process closely and coordinating energy transmission to ensure every district receives supply as quickly as possible.
Sabah Electricity said the restoration was made possible through the joint efforts of its field technicians, management, office staff and with strong support from consumers, the State Government and its board of directors.
The company also appealed for continued prayers for its colleague who was swept away by strong currents while on duty in Keningau.
It expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and support during the challenging period of supply disruption.
Consumers who continue to face outages are urged to call 15444 or use the Sabah Electricity application for assistance.
