KOTA KINABALU: Local entertainer Lotter P Edwin Edin, fondly known as Lotter or Dudu, passed away around 10pm last night (Saturday) at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), here.

Born on April 30, 1982, Lotter rose to fame as one of the standout contestants of Akademi Fantasia Season 4, remembered for his vibrant personality and powerful vocals.

He released several songs both as a solo artist and with his siblings under the pop-rock band The Divine Masters, in addition to collaborations with other local singers.

Lotter also made his mark as a radio announcer on Suria FM Sabah and Kupikupifm, where his cheerful character endeared him to many listeners.

His family shared the news of his passing late Saturday night, asking the public to offer prayers for his soul and strength for the loved ones left behind.
