Kota Kinabalu: The Scaling Up Business Growth Conference 2024, held here, marked a significant milestone for Sabah’s entrepreneurial community.
Organised by the non-governmental organisation Sabah Entrepreneurs Transformation (SET), the two-day event, which started on Friday, saw 100 entrepreneurs participate, half of whom were sponsored by the Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry and Sabah Credit Corporation.
SET President Datuk George Lim emphasised the importance of supporting start-ups in overcoming common challenges faced within the first five years of operation.
“Every year as you continue to scale, you face four major problems – lack of cash, the right people, execution, and cash flow,” he told the Daily Express, Friday.
