Kota Kinabalu: Sabah ended their campaign in the 20th Malaysian Games (Sukma) with 30 gold, 29 silver and 39 bronze medals, Saturday.
It was well short of their 40-gold target but only three less than they collected at the Perak Sukma in 2018.
They missed the opportunity to improve their gold medal tally on the last day of competition after two of their representatives were beaten in the finals.
