Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government and a Fortune 500 company signed an MoU to implement a RM17 billion flood mitigation, irrigation and drainage projects in the state.

The Sabah Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID), on behalf of the Sabah Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Ministry, and Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Corporation Limited’s Malaysian subsidiary, Shaanxi Construction Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (SCEM) inked the deal.

Sabah Deputy Chief Minister I-cum-Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan witnessed the signing ceremony at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru here.
