Kota Kinabalu: Nineteen-year-old Sabah-born Farah Ann Beaty added another feather to her cap recently by representing Malaysia at the “New Age Brilliant Young” Youth Art Competition 2024 in Guangzhou, China.
In the competition on Aug 12, Farah Ann displayed her musical talents and dedication, earning recognition and a prestigious Gold Award.
The former student of SMJK Ken Hwa Keningau performed the song “Lao Ba” (father).
The rising star’s versatility is reflected in her ability to sing in multiple languages, including Chinese, Malay, English and her native Dusun language.
