
LAHAD DATU: The General Operations Force (GOF) detained 81 individuals and seized RM25.7 million worth of smuggled goods in 35 raids across Sabah in April.
Sabah GOF Commander Datuk Abdul Rani Alias said those detained included locals and foreign nationals from the Philippines, China, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
Items seized included contraband cigarettes, crude palm oil (CPO), frozen food without halal or import certification, and other smuggled goods.

Abdul Rani urged the public to cooperate with the authorities by reporting smuggling or criminal activities to help safeguard national security and public order.
