PAPAR: The district here will be organising a third blood donation campaign this Sunday to aid blood banks in government hospitals in need of supply of about 72,000 pints yearly.
Limbahau Assemblyman Datuk Juil Nuatim said the Malaysian Red Crescent (BSMM) Papar branch briefed him that about 6,000 pints of blood per month are needed by patients in hospitals including Thalassemia patients.
He said the programme would be held at a multipurpose hall here starting at 9am until 4pm.
