
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Immigration Department has crippled a syndicate involving the forging of entry permit documents suspected to be active since April last year.
Its Director Datuk Sharifah Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof said a total of six suspects were detained from two raids conducted under the Ops Serkap operation.
She said three males and two females between the ages of 24 and 52 were arrested during the first raid conducted at 10.35pm at an unnumbered house in Kg Sembulan on Wednesday.
Another 59-year-old woman was detained in the second raid conducted at Riverside Sembulan at 1pm on Thursday.
