Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Indian Association (SIA) conveyed its appreciation to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and the State Government for promoting inclusive governance and engaging with minority communities.

The association acknowledged the State Government’s steady leadership, noting that Sabah has experienced consistent political and economic progress in recent years.

“On behalf of the Indian community in Sabah, we extend our thanks to the Chief Minister and his administration for their approach to governance, which has been consultative and considerate of all communities,” said the SIA executive committee, in a statement, Thursday

It also noted that the Government’s policies have encouraged cooperation and dialogue across communities.

SIA expressed its intention to continue working with the State Government in supporting policies that benefit the wider population, while also ensuring that minority communities remain part of the conversation.
