KOTA KINABALU: Negotiations on the Sabah-Indonesia border have yet to be finalised, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic) said.

“As I have said, discussions on the border demarcation have not yet been finalised, so we are waiting for the outcome of these negotiations,” he said when met after representing the Chief Minister at the launch of the Sabah Timber Legality Assurance Scheme Plus (TLAS+) Booklet here on Thursday.

Masidi was responding to a question on the Prime Minister’s explanation regarding the border dispute.

He also said the restructuring of Sabah government-linked companies (GLCs) was ongoing, with closures involving mainly subsidiaries that were not generating income.

When asked about the number of GLCs, Masidi estimated there were about 27 holding companies, adding that while there were many subsidiaries, they functioned to support their parent companies.
