
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Information Department (JaPen) reaffirms its commitment to maintain good cooperation with the federal and state governments.
Its Director, Jainisah Mohd Noor, said the department will always collaborate in delivering government policies and initiatives to the people.
“The aim was to ensure that all policies and initiatives could be utilised by the community for their well-being in all aspects of life.
“In other words, making full use of all assistance and initiatives provided, especially by the state government.
“We were also ready to cooperate in any programmes and activities implemented by departments and agencies under the state government,” she said after a courtesy visit to the Head of State, Tun Musa Aman, at Istana Seri Kinabalu yesterday.
Jainisah also said that JaPen Sabah would further enhance its efforts to ensure that all levels of society at the grassroots level received complete information.
According to her, the visit aimed to introduce JaPen Sabah’s year-long programmes and express readiness to collaborate with Istana Seri Kinabalu in upcoming programmes.
Also present were Sabah Information Deputy Director, Supian Musa, Communication Services and Community Development Division (KPP PKPM) Senior Assistant Director, Peter Tong, Media and Corporate Communication Division Senior Assistant Director, Dr. Diana Dominic, and the Secretariat Division Senior Assistant Director, Siti Mariam Aziz Rashid.
