
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) will now play host to the 26th edition of Miss Tourism International (MTI) World Final, themed “Bringing the World to Sabah”.
Miss Tourism International participants from 50 nations would be participating in this 17-day event, starting on Nov 10.
MTI Joint Organising Chairperson Xandria Ban, said that the event served as a unique opportunity to showcase the talents of contestants and fostering international business relations.
“It brings together individuals and organisations from various countries, facilitating interactions that can lead to new business ventures, partnerships and economic collaborations.

The MTI World Final coronation night will be held on Nov 25 at the SICC. It will be a celebration of unity and diversity, said CEO of the SICC, Datuk Rosmawati Lasuki.

“The MTI pageant aims to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and cultural heritage of nations around the world while promoting tourism and fostering international goodwill.
“As the venue provider, we understand the significance of this event and we hope it will create a lasting and meaningful experience for all involved — the contestants, their supporters and the global viewers.
