Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah International Expo 2026 (SIE2026) will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here from Sept 2 to 6.
Sabah Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) chairperson Datuk Susan Chang briefed Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor on the initiative during an executive committee courtesy call.
The expo aims to facilitate business networking, promote trade and investment, encourage industry collaboration, and showcase the state’s economic potential to local and international stakeholders.
Susan said key activities include the 3rd Bimp-Eaga Trade, Investment and Halal Conference, the Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk 2026 (SIBLT2026), and a welcome dinner hosted by the State Government.
She added that over 30,000 visitors and delegates from 15 countries are expected at the event, with Hajiji commending MICCI Sabah for its proactive role in fostering industry-government collaboration.
