
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah lawn bowls team are targeting two medals at the Malaysian Government Services Welfare and Recreation Council (Maksak) Games scheduled to start on Thursday (April 25) at Arena Emas in Johor.
They will be represented by a seven-man and seven-woman team led by manager cum player Supian Buang.
He said they will be competing in all disciplines in the four-day competition.
“It has been a very long time since we last won any medals so we are only hoping to win two medals of any colour this time,” he added.

Read more The other members in the team are coach cum player Affendy Tan Abdullah, Uthman Sarimal, Hafiz Firdaus Affendy, Hairi Hamzah, Hasyir Halim, Ahmad Abd Abbas, Dg Lapuan @ Zalifah Omar, Nur Zur’Ain Md Zaidi, Saralia Lazamus @ Saralia Lazarus, Nur Syafiqa Johana Affendy, Faridah Abdullah, Susanna Felicia Ansip and Siti Solehah Halim.
They are scheduled to leave for Johor on Wednesday and return on April 29.
