KOTA KINABALU: Sabah-MM2H Advisory Association founder, Jenny Ngu, voiced support for the proposed cable car in Kundasang, saying it would boost tourism, benefit local communities, and make Mount Kinabalu accessible to children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

“This project will not only offer a compelling new attraction for international visitors, but will also benefit the local Sabah community… Mount Kinabalu should not be exclusive only to climbers.

“With the cable car system, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and young children will also have the opportunity to ascend and experience breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.”Jenny highlighted global and Malaysian examples like Langkawi SkyCab and Genting Skyway, and urged improvements to the Tamparuli-Kundasang road to ensure safe and convenient travel for visitors.
