KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah’s KPSTI is planning a statewide push to integrate artificial intelligence into education, including a One-Staff / One-AI pilot to boost AI literacy among civil servants and educators.

Minister Datuk James Ratib said the ministry is working with AI firm Aras Integrasi to develop teacher training modules, curriculum-aligned AI tools and offline solutions for rural schools.

Multilingual AI platforms that include local Sabah languages are also being explored to ensure inclusive access.

He said the state aims to deploy AI responsibly to improve education quality and readiness for the future.
