KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR prioritises political stability and the people's welfare over internal disputes within Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH), particularly on whether to continue working with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
Its chief, Datuk Mustapha Sakmud, emphasised the importance of avoiding mistakes that could destabilise the coalition, urging a focus on harmony and public aspirations despite challenges at the national level.
AdvertisementResponding to rumours of a split in Sabah PH regarding unity with GRS, Mustapha reaffirmed that disputes should be resolved through PH's presidential council.
Mustapha acknowledged differing opinions on Sabah PH's leadership, currently held by Upko President Datuk Ewon Benedick and called for collaboration between local and national parties to drive Sabah’s development.
