Kota Kinabalu: Sabah PKR Youth has dismissed claims of internal rifts, clarifying that the party remains stable and united ahead of the 17th State Election.

Sabah PKR Youth chief Zaidi Jatil (pic) said a recent news portal report suggesting widespread discontent over potential “parachute candidates” did not reflect the true context of party discussions.

He said the recent meeting between the Sabah PKR leadership council and branch heads was held in a harmonious and friendly atmosphere, guided by the spirit of family within the party.

Zaidi said PKR values grassroots feedback and believes all views should be respected in the process of selecting candidates as part of its principle of consultation and inclusivity.

He added that Sabah PKR will continue to uphold the reformist struggle under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim while focusing on strengthening coordination and solidarity across the State.
