Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun will officially retire on Nov 11 after more than 32 years of service in the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
Jauteh paid a farewell courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.
Hajiji recorded his appreciation for Jauteh’s dedicated service and contributions to maintaining security and public order across the state throughout his policing career.
The outgoing police chief in turn thanked the State Government under Hajiji’s leadership for critical logistical support, notably the provision of land for two new district police headquarters (IPD) in Kalabakan and Nabawan.
Jauteh noted that state assistance had also funded the upgrading of 20 police beats statewide, strengthening the contingent’s operational infrastructure and presence.
