Kota Kinabalu: Sabah police made their biggest drugs bust this year, seizing 50.25kg of Syabu worth at least RM3 million and arresting three Sarawakians last Thursday.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said the trio were taken in about 12.40pm while parked in a Mazda6 near a bus stop at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
“The three men aged 27 to 38 years are believed to be a part of a global drug trafficking syndicate," he told a press conference on Monday.
“Further investigations revealed their road trip destination to be in Tawau as the drugs were meant for the Indonesia market.”
