GABUNGAN Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will launch its manifesto for the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN17) this afternoon, becoming one of the earliest coalitions to do so after the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat released its manifesto on 13 November.
According to a media invitation, the launch will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre from 2pm.
The manifesto will be presented by GRS Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Armizan Ali, who also serves as Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living.
Following the presentation, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also GRS chairman, will officiate the launch.
GRS, established nearly four years ago, comprises Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, Parti Bersatu Sabah, the United Sabah National Organisation, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah, Parti Cinta Sabah and the Liberal Democratic Party.
For this state election, the coalition is contesting 55 of the 73 state seats under the campaign slogan “Rumah Kita. Kita Jaga”.
Armizan has previously stated that the manifesto will not only offer new commitments but will also “showcase the strong track record of the state administration since 2020”.
The Election Commission has set 29 November as polling day for PRN17, with early voting scheduled for 25 November. - November 17, 2025
