PAKATAN Harapan (PH) will unveil its manifesto for the 17th Sabah General Election this afternoon, adding another major policy document to an already brisk campaign season as parties race to define their priorities for voters.
The “Sabah Pakatan Harapan Commitments” (“Komitmen Pakatan Harapan Sabah”) will be presented by Sabah PKR chairman Datuk Mustapha Sakmud at a hotel in Kota Kinabalu at 3pm, according to a media invitation issued earlier.
It will later be formally launched by the coalition’s top state leadership.
PH is contesting 21 constituencies in the state polls, with 12 seats under PKR, eight under DAP and one under Amanah.
Its manifesto launch comes a day after Barisan Nasional (BN) rolled out its “Rancangan Pembangunan Sabah Satu (RPS1)” at the Sabah UMNO headquarters, setting out six pillars for development and public welfare.
Bernama cited on Sunday that Perikatan Nasional (PN) had earlier introduced its “Kasi Bagus Sabah” manifesto on 21 November in Putatan, while Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) was first out of the gate with its document on 17 November, anchored on the concept “Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga” and themed “Memacu Sabah Maju, Rakyat Berkemajuan”.
Warisan is also slated to launch its manifesto later today in Penampang, further intensifying the competition among Sabah’s political blocs as polling day draws nearer. - November 23, 2025
