
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 17 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, a slight increase from 10 the day earlier.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the increase corresponded to a higher positivity rate of 1.82 per cent compared to 1.46 per cent the day before and the number of test samples which increased from 687 to 933.
Penampang topped the list with 5 cases, followed by Tuaran (3), Kota Kinabalu (2), Kudat (2), Sandakan (2), Lahad Datu (1), Putatan (1) and Tenom (1).
“Nineteen districts did not record any new infections,” he said, Tuesday.
He said 14 out of 17 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was each recorded in category three, four and five. No deaths were recorded.
