Kota Kinabalu: Any political faction that wishes to form the Federal government in the coming 15th General Election (GE15) must form a strong pact with parties in Sabah and Sarawak, said Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) President Tan Sri T.C Goh.
He said Sabah and Sarawak parties could easily become kingmakers in GE15, adding that previous GEs had significantly changed the political landscape in Peninsular Malaysia from a ‘two-party system’ to the present day’s ‘multi-party system’.
“In other words, no single political party could form the Government on its own feet in today’s much disintegrated political landscape,”
