Kota Kinabalu: City residents can download the Sabah Smart Parking Application for free starting Sept 9, via Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
City Hall (DBKK) Mayor Datuk Dr Sabin Samitah said Sabah Smart Parking application will be implemented on Oct 16, replacing the current coupon parking system.
“Residents, especially those using public parking spaces in Kota Kinabalu City, are encouraged to download this application onto their mobile phones,” he said in a statement.
Sabin said the application will allow the public to pay for parking charges, check compound arrears, purchase monthly parking passes, and access other related services.

Sabin also reminds citizens to continue adhering to the enforced bylaws.
Users with existing physical coupons (scratch cards) may continue to use them until they are exhausted.
