Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will be a major source of construction materials in upcoming development projects in Tawi-Tawi in southern Philippines.
The Muslim dominated Tawi-Tawi comprises island municipslities is the last Philippine province located in Southern Mindanao and nearest to Sabah.
BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) Sabah Chairman Carl Moosom said discussions have started between Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco) and representatives from the Tawi-Tawi government to supply construction materials and other items for development purposes of the province which is the most peaceful place in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
