
KOTA KINABALU: A State Cabinet meeting will determine locations in Kimanis and another along the stretch between Kota Belud and Kota Marudu towards the purpose of establishing two new industrial parks.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said plots in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) in Sepanggar are nearing full occupancy, while the Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (Sogip) in Sipitang is already full.

“We will bring the matter (establishing two more Sabah industrial parks) to the Cabinet.
“With Sogip being full, we need to make room to create further and develop industries in Sabah for investors,” he told a press conference at the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Women’s Roadshow launch at Sabah International Convention Centre on Sunday.
