This was revealed by Sabah Football Association (Safa) Executive Secretary David Wisom at the closing of the Futsal level one coaching course held at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, here, Friday.
He also said Safa will be organising more circuits and inter-zone league tournaments this year as well as under-12 competition in their effort to focus on grassroots development.
A total of 19 participants completed the six-day level one course organised by Safa in collaboration with FAM and Asian Football Confederation (AFC), which was conducted by AFC futsal instructor Chiew Chun Yong.
UMS Senior Youth and Sports Officer Azman Soaibah said the course was aimed to improve the participants’ knowledge in taking up coaching as a career
