Kota Kinabalu: Three Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School students who emerged as national champions in the National Science Challenge (NSC) 2026 received special contributions from Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk James Ratib.
The students—Brenna Carmen Hee, Carol Lee Sing Nee, and Kang Juwon—also brought home the Prime Minister’s Cup after their victory.
Ratib said the achievement was a proud moment that proved Sabah students' ability to excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (Stem).
The trio are scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya on Sept 28 before representing Malaysia at Stem activities in Japan this October.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) is sponsoring their flight and accommodation expenses for the trip to Japan.
