Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) are ready to face the coming state election any time, said Sabah Umno and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
He said Sabah Umno/BN is always on standby to face the possibility of the 17th State Election being held earlier. Sabah Umno/BN has done the best preparations involving coordination at all levels covering BN’s core component parties, he added.
Recently, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who is also the President of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat), after officiating the Gagasan Rakyat Annual Meeting, hinted at the possibility of the 17th State Election to be held as early as next year.
