Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to Malaysia’s institutions and the monarchy while expressing strong hope for a fair trial and outcome for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Sabah Umno Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin voiced the party’s full support for the decree issued by the Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, on Friday.

Read more His remarks followed a statement from Umno Secretary-General Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, who reiterated the party’s commitment to upholding the Malay Rulers, the Federal Constitution and the nation’s judicial system.
The statement also announced the cancellation of a planned Monday rally in support of Najib's bid for a pardon, following advice from Istana Negara and the Inspector-General of Police.
