
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno’s priority is to rebuild its strength by organising machinery and strengthening unity among members, including the grassroots.
Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin urged leaders and members to create sentiments, narratives and a positive aura to win the hearts of the people.
“Sabah Umno leaders must lead in the people’s thinking to curb slander thrown by certain parties by mastering the use of social media.
“This approach is an important model that must be implemented to ensure the party’s survivability as perception is more convincing than reality.

Bung reminded that the traditional face-to-face meetings must also be continued to ensure a friendlier and closer bond with party leaders.
He also reminded members not to desert the party when tested.
“The important thing is that there should be no treachery when tested by the opponent.
There should be no second guessing when being offered a position and do not run away from the struggle.
“Umno remains the vessel of our struggle today. We must hold on to the identity of this struggle,” he added.
