
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government is looking forward to creating a China-Sabah community of shared destiny through collaboration with high-impact Chinese investors in the State, said Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.
He said this aligns with the latest developments and opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI).
“Our collaborative efforts are focused on creating employment opportunities and fostering sustainable economic growth in the State,” he said when delivering a keynote address at the High Quality One Belt One Road Cooperation Forum themed “Promoting Sabah’s Involvement in Co-Building Contributing to the Building of a China-Malaysia Community of Shared Destiny” at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here Tuesday.
Consul General of The People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu, Dr Huang Shifang was also present.
