Kota Kinabalu: A marine biologist and artist from Sabah represented the nation at the Asean “Art for All” project held in Bangkok, Thailand, recently.

Japson Wong was selected by the National Art Gallery for his expertise in recycling and upcycling and was the sole Malaysian artist to participate in the prestigious event.

The “Art for All” Project, organised by the Art for All Foundation and Center, is a non-profit initiative aimed at promoting art education and inclusivity.

Sponsored by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Escap), Thailand’s Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Culture, and Chulalongkorn University, the project engaged young people with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups, fostering collaboration and creativity.
