Former Roma sports chief Walter Sabatini says Francesco Totti should return to the club.
Sabatini believes Totti can work as a successful football director.
He explained: "Roma is his past and it must also be his future.
"But Totti must apply himself more.
"When he played, his talent exempted him from heavy commitments, but now if he wants to be a manager he has to study, work hard and pedal."
