Sacha Baron Cohen has responded to claims made by Rebel Wilson that he behaved like a “massive a******” when they filmed action movie Grimsby.

The Pitch Perfect actress claimed the British comedian was trying to threaten and block her during the filming of the 2016 comedy.

The claims are made in Wilson’s upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising.

In a statement, the Borat star said: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”
